The Lord Puds has again gathered the Pudsey supporters for another epic Pudsey ride.

Teams from across the UK have trained ready to give the little yellow bear the ride of his life.

In 2009 they carried him 588.89 miles the target this year will be 594 leg stretching, bum bruising miles.

For the 2010 event The British Triathlon Association and The Calshot Crusaders (Calshot Staff) will be joining with teams from Chippenham Wheelers, New Forest CC, Bournemouth Arrow, Poole Wheelers, Birmingham CC and Team Midland Racing to carry Pudsey Bear 594 miles .

Will Pudsey survive 24 hours on the Calshot Track?

Starting at 5pm on Friday 19th November the Calshot Crusaders will lead off the charge and set the target the other team will be trying to beat.

The teams will change every hour transferring Pudsey to the next team. While on the move you can follow your team’s progress by logging onto the event schedule page to see the results - or watch the riders efforts live on the webcam (assuming the techie wizzards can get it all to work).. Webcam up and running from about 4:00pm - click the link on the menu bar above.

DO NOT forget to follow through to the Just Giving page to make a donation.

Please give generously . These riders will be riding their legs off to reach the targets set.

Please make the riders suffering more worth while by donating more Pudsey Pounds.

Hello Craig,
I would be honored to say a few words of support for such a worthy cause. To all the riders who will participate in this November's charity ride, I congratulate and support your commitment to raising more money this year-and of course, you had BETTER increase the number of miles you'll cover over the 24-hour period! Even though I've set several 24-hour world records, it never gets any easier-and I'm sure this applies to a relay-team as well. I suspect that all of you have learned from your previous experience, and will put this experience into practice this November. Each time I have set a world record, I've learned a little more on how to make my next ride more productive. I guess this proves the old axiom: learn from your past experiences in order to avoid making some of the mistakes you made along the way. When the ride starts to hurt-as it will if you're trying to break a record-remember your purpose for participating: raising money for the needy children. The hurt won't seem so bad as you think it is! Good luck to all of you in your quest-and I hope you top L10,000 and 600 miles. Go for it! If you need any further inspiration, you can go to my website, www.TheGuyOnTheBike.com; where, on the home page, you can watch my short video of my 24-hour paced world record.
My best to you all,

Michael Secrest
